A bit more complicated. I have less problems with obese people/smokers - largely becuase they contribute more to the tax system before they take from it. That's the case over here, we have VAT (Value added tax) on certain products. This means you'll pay a fortune for cigarettes, but the vast majority of that money goes back to the Government in the form of tax.

If you drink a lot and smoke a lot or even eat a lot, then by the nature of your addiction you have paid more into the system. If you then die young, that's sort of on you. Means there's more money sloshing around for kids with cancer etc.

Also, you can't vaccinate against smoking, drinking and obesity. If you could, and it were possible to get a 'smoking' vaccine - and then you refused to take it - and then you showed up with lung cancer. That'd be on you - back of the queue.
