A large part of my schooling was spent arguing the other side. A large part of my job is spent doing exactly the same thing - and I thoroughly enjoy myself. There is a lot of grey in the world and not enough people enjoy being there.

Social media, for the most part, doesn't really do grey. There is no grey there's just the black and the white and deciding on heroes and villains - and how quickly these decisions can be sent out to the masses.
