Aaaaaah, I see…. So you get to refer to those who are Spanish as ‘white people’ and denigrate them en masse, but if anyone else who happens to be ‘Spanish passing’ (or white) - perhaps an Italian, Latvian, British or tbh any sort of indigenous European gets offended, then you invite them to be offended because they’re white folks and we love offending them.

And then a few paragraphs later, you point out the differences between your specific cultural histories and geographies, demand they be universally respected and explain why calling you Latino/a is so offensive. You reserve the right to diminish the cultures of those you think of as oppressors.

And you don’t see a problem here?

And before you kick off, remember I’m a Penguin. Also remember I’m a Brit and the Spanish attempted invade my country in 1588. We are not the same people, culturally, historically or otherwise.
