Aaaah, this is a tone thing and my British low-key tongue in cheek isn't shining through as . I'm not doom-y about the end of Capitalism, I think it's already happening and I'm quite excited about it. I am not a Conservative, I love change, particularly when it's fast paced and I think there are some very interesting inevitable changes on the horizon. There's a great book called Post Capitalism by Paul Mason if you haven't read it then it comes highly recommended - also Homo Deus by Yuval Noah Harari. :o)
