Agreed. But equals how? Should we start executing women to match the high suicide rate in men - or should we start raping men to match the high sexual assault crimes against women? Should we push for 50% employment opportunities across the board, even in jobs like bricklaying that women have very little interest in doing. Privilege is a complicated and multi-faceted concept which varies from individual to individual and situation to situation; you cannot simply say 'treat women as equal to men' without first defining which women, which men and what equality means in practice. :o)
