All good questions - and you're correct. I guess sports guidelines decide on the fairness categories for the rest of us because it's sensible if not philosophically so, perhaps we should do away with them all? Just human vs human in any given event or competition. See what happens? We might see the emergence of new competitions if we start from a place of absolute indifference :o)
