Although Amazon are slowly taking over the world — I’d also recommend getting Audible. I thought I would just pay my £7.99 a month, but now I have a backlog of ‘deal of the day’ (they’re £1.99 each and I can’t help myself!).
I love stories. I love reading. But it’s hard to walk and read, it’s even harder to drive and read. That’s why I’ve gone all in for audiobooks and I love it. I still read — but I’ve combined it with listening to ensure that I’m almost always surrounded by stories. It’s great for the brain and more importantly for a writer — the imagination.
