Instead, penned an op-ed about how awful the whole experience was in retrospect. It’s a two way street. At no point did anyone identify that there might’ve been a problem with the staff not knowing what do in advance - yet you’ve assumed they should all have got everything right first time without training and without warning.
There is perhaps an argument that this is part of a feedback for the cis-population to be more accommodating, at which point I’d suggest it’s a PR disaster for trans-men. There are ways and means to initiate and advocating change. This isn’t it. Insisting the centre ground ‘meet everyone half way’ is the new face of oppression leads precisely nowhere.
