As a concept there is nothing wrong with feminism - the idea of equality between the sexes is both valid and admirable. In practice it is an abhorrent shit show of people who cannot negotiate, cannot brook dissent and who will not engage in any discussion past the direct issues they wish to focus on. I stopped being ‘a feminist’ in 2018 after a series of unpleasant encounters with female idiots.

Since that point I have remained committed to sex egalitarianism and will talk about it in that way. Many feminists are simply middle class misandrists who have hijacked a societal narrative that grants them the internal locus of control and absolves them of emotional regulation.

Some of them are lovely. I just won’t be caught in a ideological tent with idiots, so I’ve opted out. Sounds like you have too. Good for you. :o)
