I don't really mind being judged, when the Penguin was born (in 2020) there was a lot more identity politics than there is now - there was a lot of pre-deciding who could and couldn't speak on any given issue and it was more widely enforced. I had a strong aversion to it given my propensity to believe that all words belong to all people. Now it's just a gimmick I enjoy.
