I am of course joking, these are all great films and the stories they're based around contain a myriad of carefully cultivated messages about the reality of the world itself. They wouldn't have lasted for hundreds of years if they hadn't. The fairy tales do differ from the sanitised Disney versions, but there's wisdom in those stories if people are interested in looking for it - and I also strongly dislike the reductionist 'its all about the patriarchy silly' style nonsense that gets thrown about without much thought.
