Bigotry doesn’t mean what most people think it does. Bigotry means the inability to listen to someone with another point of view. That’s it. Those of us who are anti-racist, pro-inclusion and all the other things you’ve outlined call ourselves liberals. Somewhere along the line ‘woke’ has Co-opted liberalism and attempted to force into totalitarian tolerance. I will object to that as strongly as I object to totalitarian theocracy…. Not because I don’t agree with the aims but because I don’t agree with the methodology. Search ‘whack a woke James Finn’ to see the difference between discussion of tolerance and screaming the word ‘bigot’ at someone because they’ve had the temerity to disagree with a small amount of your world view.

Woke has been bastardised. It is a religion now - and like all theocracies, it has dogma, it has acolytes and it runs endless self-defeating crusades.
