But here you've missed the point. She wasn't a child. She was an adult. And when adults make decisions for themselves (even bad ones) then they are responsible for those choices. If people are dating children, then this is a matter for child protection and for the police. If two adults get into a relationship, this is a matter for the two of them.... what you're doing here is telling adult women they are too naive to make their own choices because you have decided that is the case. This generalised 'men are evil' has the backhanded effect of informing young women they are not capable rational or adult enough to make their own choices. It's inherently problematic at its core. It's also very popular at the moment because Leonardo Di Caprio has broken up with another girlfriend.
