Completely agree — but that is about ensuring that Police structures have comprehensive whistleblowing strategies in place, alongside clearly defined disciplinary actions and an effective chain of command. That’s about setting up an outside independent complaints commission and a separate judiciary that investigates any and all deaths within police custody or anyone killed as part of a police operation.

Except that sort of thing isn’t easily turned into Medium clickbait and it’s far easier (and in this case more lucrative) to write something without any real insight that stokes an already divisive situation into something worse.
