Couldn't agree more about Muggeridge, was completely out of touch with reality by the time the Pythons hit their full swing. If you haven't seen it then I recommend the 2011 dramatisation of this interview and the furore around the release of Life of Brian in 1979.
It's called 'Holy Flying Circus' and Michael Cochrane plays Muggeridge, he's one of those actors that's in everything but nobody knows his name. I remember him as one of the bad guys from Sharpe. I couldn't mention the show without pointing out the incredible Darren Boyd who is even more Cleesey than John Cleese if such a thing were possible. Enjoy this link :o)
