Couldn’t agree with you more. Social media brings very little value (if any) into the lives of most people. The costs on your time and mental health are enormous. It’s very much the cigarette smoking of the digital era. Go back 80 years and you’ll see everyone is smoking in photos from about the age of 8 upwards. It was the done thing. Now it seems ridiculous. Future generations will look back at our social media profiles and wonder ‘what the hell were they thinking?!’.

Take it further, bin off everything else too. I did and I haven’t looked back since. :o)
