Counter argument, but not one I’m prepared to make too vociferously because I don’t think wishing harm upon someone is a useful way to get a message across. Can we not assume the women in this politicians life are at least tacitly supporting the introduction of the law. They aren’t passive non-entities - and if they have assumed such a position in his life, doesn’t that make them a little complicit?
Isn’t perhaps the conversation to be had with those women, about their views? That isn’t to blame them for their husband’s/father’s views but to empower them towards self advocacy. Instead of wishing them harm, we should be thinking about how to empower the moderate conservative wife and mother.
