Damn right.... there will undoubtedly be moments where the Urchling throws those traits around and you'll realise you were just a genetic spaceship for survival instincts and awesomeness.
My own grandmother died a few weeks back. I wasn't there, but my father was. The doctor arrived and said "we may need to start end of life care". My grandmother was a nurse for 45 years, opened her eyes, squeezed my Dad's hand, closed her eyes and died. My Dad reported it as a final physical 'sod that for a game of soldiers' - something my grandmother always said when she couldn't be bothered with faff. It was a very her way to go. She was active, she made choices and she chose her moment.
I inherited much from her, a propensity to feed others at the drop of a hat, telling people exactly what I think, and unfettered kindness towards children and animals who never get the sharp edge of my scorn.. Money seems like such a minor concern when you lose someone as valuable as a grandparent which is why this guy was such a prick and needed to be told. My grandmother would've done the same thing. :o)
