Damn right - and I want to stand up and applaud, but I can't because I'm on the bus. The House of Commons needs far more Angela Rayners and a lot more Dennis Skinner's in the mix. You can't fight a Conservative party with moderation and macchiato. Boris can't be held to account because nobody wants him to be - and the Etonians scattere around the press and in the BBC won't allow it. Angela Rayner was always going to get flack for her comments - but I'm glad she's doubling down and I'm glad she's saying what she thinks.
They should put Rayner front and centre and work out what the equivalent to Boris is. The Labour politician who gets to say exactly what he/she thinks and then skip off into the sunset, unapologetic and unbovvered.
Great article. Loved it. :o)
