Did you actually watch the trial? Did you listen to the evidence on the balance of probabilities? Or is this assessment made on the basis of genitalia alone? This was Amber Heard’s case to lose, she had the stronger legal argument going into the case but she grandstanded and much of her narrative failed under cross.

The reason many men (and women) have ceased to engage with feminism is simple. It’s thinly veiled misandry pretending it’s empowerment. Amber Heard’s allegations were accepted prima facie, Depp was condemned in the court of public opinion and thrown out of work. This was putting ALL the information into the same court. He doesn’t care about whether or not he won, he wants to tell his side in the open.

Amber Head doesn’t deserve the vilification she is currently experiencing. She likely has BPD which makes things complicated - but if you’ve watched the trial and sat through the evidence, the witness testimonies and the arguments you’d likely be less confident about building your case for feminism on such shifting and sandy ground.

Feminism has always been about fairness and equality between the sexes. The court case was fair, the media circus isn’t. Heard is getting the backlash she doesn’t deserve for an overreach into misandrist thinking, when what was required was a continuation of finding and prosecuting egregious abusers and holding the middle ground.

This article isn’t the middle ground. It’s misandry. It’s the equal and opposite to the horrible misogyny aimed at Heard. It doesn’t resolve the problem, it exacerbates it.
