Excellent piece and a good follow on thought track from my article (even though you'd pre-written it a year or so ago in some time-wimey distortion) Don't forget the cardinal rules of driving traffic to your stories... unsplash image, slightly clickbaity title and subtitle to draw the readers in.

I will say it, there's nothing trite and pedantic about this writing - and you have some excellent points about the state of the world and the state of our children.
