Excellent work. I get very irate when people say things about being offended by books. I get even more angry when I’m told ‘you can’t write that story because you aren’t an X’ - it’s deemed as offensive.

As such the world of TV and theatre is now being filled with sub-par stories written by various X’s, lauded for their insight and bravery, but not particularly well formed or crafted.

I have no problem offending people deliberately- sometimes that’s a necessity. If I offend people accidentally (very rare in my case) - then I’ll usually apologise. I don’t play sillyfuckers and contrition with weaponised offence officienandos.
