For what it's worth, I think Johnathon is wrong. The Gotcha Headline is an integral part of how people look at things. Your message in the article is very clear and it is not 'stop recycling' - but an article titled 'Stop recycling the wrong type of plastic because it causes more harm than good' is a lot less catchy and significantly less people would read it. Nuanced articles can be attached to 'gotcha' headlines as long as they adequately pay off. This did. Keep doing what you're doing. :o)
