Further to my previous comment - there's also a consent issue at play here that is in the moral dubious area. If someone consents to sex with you under a certain set of preconditions - but you have lied about those preconditions there is a case to be made for sexual assault. If a man were to agree to have protected sex with a woman and then not wear protection without her knowledge - this would constitute sexual assault.

You could argue that it would be her moral responsibility to check he was wearing a condom - but I suspect many of the commenters here wouldn't agree with this sentiment.

And if not, why not?

I didn't say it in my last comment because I forgot - but this is a banging article. Kudos to you and also to Patsy for throwing it into Fourth Wave. It's always nice to rattle an echo chamber once in a while. You've managed to upset quite a lot of people. You sure you haven't got Penguin blood in your genes?. ;o)
