Getting up to speed on this - cos I haven’t been in this thread for a while. It seems the discussion isn’t about the language - it’s about the acts of terror, ie murder and rape. If such acts of terror were committed on the population of Israel initially then we have ourselves a terrorist organisation/or state sponsored terrorism.

I am not arguing Israel innocence, nor am I arguing against an ICJ ruling, I am arguing that supporting Hamas actions constitutes the support of terrorism as a methodology. I would also argue blindly supporting the right wing of the Israeli government is supporting genocide if the ICJ ruling is correct (which I believe it is) but this is a separate matter. The left cannot sweep acts of terrorism under the carpet to create a narrative of heroes and villains - there are only villains and innocents.
