Great article, very smart. I would argue that success doesn’t have to be financial. Showing up and writing is where you should draw the success line…. getting a hefty payday and or validation for your work is a bonus.

If people see the former as their marker rather than the latter, there’d be a lot less brains over the table. Writing is its own reward. I was doing it on Facebook for free. Now it I earn $0.01 for a story, it’s an improvement of 100% on my 2017 self. :o)
