Haven't seen the film, haven't read the review - but I'd like to throw an addendum on what Teed has already said. it doesn't matter if the review was clueless, privileged or whatever - if it's an honest appraisal of what the reviewer thought, then it's a terrifying world when thoughts have to be slammed, policed and re-issued to meet the collective seal of approval.

What a dangerous and stupid road for a society to travel... it's not only the quickest way to a circle jerk around poorly conceived ideological films, it's a subversive way to tell everyone EXACTLY what they must think.

Should never have apologised. Should never have taken it down and CinemaBlend should get some fucking backbone. Why not just issue a pre-approved list of things people are 'allowed to say' and then publish the first soulless mouthpiece who shows up to vocalise a parroted opinion and get a self-applauded orgasm for their troubles.
