Having your own publication is excellent because of all the queue jumping. I rarely check the stats for mine - it's just the default place my work goes. Sometimes my niche work goes off to Lessons From History or Feedium but I've pretty much given up on any others. Anything that delays my gratification can go in the bin and that includes waiting more than ten minutes for my work to go live. I'm such a millennial. :o)
