Hey Jeannette, lovely to see your name pop up, and so pleased that you spotted it wasn't my work fairly quickly. I was a bit scared a whole bunch of new readers would do the first five lines and clock-out dismissing me straight into the bin of obscurity.
I think reading and responding the opinions of others is really the only way a society can function. Such interactions are fast being lost in the modern age. You and I don't always agree, but we don't have to - and part of me is glad when we don't. We've both got strong world views shaped by life experience and so stand to learn from each other if we take the time to listen.
As a result other people stand to learn from both of us discussing and exploring these disagreements in a fair and even handed way. That's how the world is slowly turned into a better and more respectful place and society becomes more inclusive, tolerant and less angry.
