Hey! Some of us atheists aren't all about darkness and hatred. Some of us really enjoyed the enlightenment and think religion may have overplayed its hand in the political affairs of mankind. There are bits of Christianity I enjoy, particularly the bits that have infused their way into law and liberalism. That said there's also a fair amount I enjoy about being in a country that doesn't centre a 2000 year old book as the root point for all discussions of moral right and wrong.. Don't mistake my ardent secularism for darkness though - I don't hate Christians half as much as some of them may hate me :o)
