Hey there,

Nope. Very little aggression in the article — just enjoying playing around with hyperbole and rude words on an issue I care very little about either way. ASMR is definitely a thing. I occasionally experience it, the article makes clear it’s a demonstrable thing early on. What the article says is…. don’t make ASMR a thing you feel like you MUST have in order to sleep. Habits are easy to create and difficult to drop. If you start to believe that you can’t sleep without a chittering sound, you won’t be able to. That can’t be good.

And yeah… supply and demand suggests that there’s a market for it out there. Along with class A drugs, healing crystals and ivory. Just because there’s a market out there doesn’t mean that a moral position on an argument has been established.

I’m glad you took time to read the article — I am emotionally involved in this lot less than you think, but I do enjoy debating such things. :o)
