Hi Shea. I'm going to presume that you didn't bother to read the article before you launched this threat of legal action. Had you bothered to do so, you would've noticed quite quickly that I sided with Rittenhouse, declared the trial to be fair - and apart from insinuating that perhaps it was stupid for him to be at a riot whilst still a child, I am broadly in favour with his acquittal. Mostly this is a piece about how America needs to stop knee-jerk reactivity and consider the consequences of letting teenagers have guns and maybe consider that the laws aren't fit for purpose.

As the piece specifically deals with all the law evidence (and not ignore it) then explains exactly why the acquittal was sound i'm confident I won't be extradited to the US to suffer bankruptcy. I suspect all you'll manage to do by sending the defence team this piece is piss them off - as I'm sure they didn't ask for some random Medium vigilante to generate paperwork on their behalf. You can forward them this comment as well if you like (hi guys, sorry about Shea, he/she/they is clearly nuts).

It takes quite a lot to get an out of character and miffed response from me.... but failing to read a piece about the problems of people not reading the law carefully - and then trying to evoke the law to somehow smoosh your world view into the mix... that's managed it.
