Being timid is not a good plan, not on this platform. Write. Polish. Publish. Rinse. Repeat. You're too skilled a writer to let something like a lack of confidence hold you back. It's one of the main frustrations I have with Medium. There are people on this site making a fortune with writing that isn't even a quarter as good as this. Meanwhile, genuine wordsmiths are too busy questioning their abilities and caught in perpetual angst to publish. You clearly love words, I can tell. Focus on that. :o)
