Hyperbole rather than drama; though a quick Google search on the prevalence of search terminology for neurodiversity, neurodivergence, ADHD and Autism will show you that these terms are being searched for at an explosive rate.

I work at the sharp end of mental health, where absolutely nobody talks about neurodivergence. It's largely being discussed by the chattering classes.
