I actually reversed the word on purpose and usually do when I use the phrase or write it - I think basic-bitch sounds more derogatory than bitch-basic. Basic-bitch sounds accusatory but bitch-basic sounds like a more rambunctiously alliterative form of 'simply stupid'.

Just one of those quirks of language. :o)
