I agree - there's a lot of money to be made by 'therapists' who empower people to naval gaze and reach no real conclusions. That's why I'm a big fan of the CBT interventions and less so the more 'tell me about your childhood' stuff.

It may work for some people, but for a lot of people it's just paying money for some self involved storytelling that leads neither party anywhere.
