I also went to said story and registered my dislike of blocking people and then writing stories about them. That comment was duly hidden from view. I think that’s unfair too - and have an upcoming article (still being edited) which argues why you should just leave your comments alone. The only time I’ve ever hidden comments is if they’re a) spam b) an unrelated attack on someone/group not in the article as I consider this unrelated and grandstanding spam and c) if they’ve revealed my identity. Everything else gets left up, disagreement is important and necessary.
