I am a penguin (not a man), but I didn’t just say 23 people died cos they got smacked on the back of the head - and so it clearly wasn’t a utopian wonderland… what I said was I felt you had oversimplified the situation to suit your argument. That was, in part because I read a meta-analysis like this one. It draws into question the idea that patriarchy swept down via warlike tribes - that actually it was emerging through wealth inequality and hoarding behaviours within this society itself. There’s a lot of talk about quern distribution - it was fascinating.
