I broadly agree, but I think it’s a failure of the left to form a cohesive narrative that does a disservice here. Identity politics has taken the concept of intersectionality and used it as a weapon for the left to smash other parts of the left with. Why bother pushing for economic changes that would create universal feminist good if it’s easier to make Black folks fight white folks and Suella Braverman can slip by unnoticed.
