I can't say I have a problem with critical thinking but simply as a lens to inform the wider political conversations. That's different from wokeness, CRT can be (and should be) used to inform how laws are shaped alongside any and all other critical ideas. The ongoing shit-flinging is a hybrid mess of letting the right determine what CRT is and then letting them use it as a strawman and then empowering the identity lunatics on the left to enter a slanging match.

Liberalism and economic socialism encompasses race issues as part of a wider catch all betterment of society argument - it's one that the woke won't let the Democrats make. Any attempt to return to the safety of Liberalism is now being attacked as retrograde, racist, sexist, homphobic or anti-whatever en-vogue word will suffice.

What you've pointed out in this article is the reality that the insistence of letting the fringe woke identarians run the ideological left will see Democrats (and in my country Labour) out of power for a generation. It's all about protest, angry shouting, slogans and any attempt to implement this bag of fighting cats into Government would result in the imminent self immolation and collapse of every leader who emerged. Moderates know this and that's why many of them are moving right.
