I did not know that! I've just run off and done a deeper dive about Lynn Swann and his work with Twyla Tharp. Amazing stuff - and the skills are absolutely transferable. I was no Lynn Swann but when I played rugby but I was generally considerd to be quite nimble, fast and difficult to catch. You don't tend to get hit by a linebacker during most ballets, but it'd be an interesting addition and I've yet to see an American football coach who's any scarier than an 85 year old ballet mistress with a cane.
