I did the same thing, I wrote some of my best stories early on, and nearly left the platform. I always advise people to write short form and shallow first, then dip the toe with deeper and well-researched - then finally deep and personal.

I rewrite my stories all the time, never with duplicate content but with some passages the same. Medium either hasn’t noticed or doesn’t care :o)
