I didn’t re-define the word bigot. I found the definition in an online dictionary. I applied it evenly. There are bigots on both sides of the political spectrum. I’m not offended by the article. I’m not offended by your response to my comment — because, quite frankly, who has the time to walk around being that offended on a constant basis.

My original comment came, not out of frustration of the politics of the article (which I broadly agree with) but simply that it does nothing to further the discourse and that unbalanced curation means that Medium is becoming a left-leaning echo chamber. I will engage in reasonable debate with anyone who disagrees with me and can hold a civilised online discussion about it. I won’t trade ad-hominem attacks.

If you’d like to further the discussion then I’ll happily discuss it. If you’d like to read more about the centre ground position I generally take then this article will do a better job than anything I can state in the comments.
