I didn’t read that question as sarcastic…. But I am also interested in the answer. Australia did have an aggressive isolationist stance (my cousin is there) and it seemed to work very well in terms of Covid- though it must’ve decimated the tourist economy? I wish the U.K. had instigated something similar to Australia or NZ, but we have a floppy blonde party clown in charge atm and he can’t make decisions because he wants to be liked.
Is the Covid response a hot button issue in the US? I know that Trump’s response was about as effective as standing on the beach whispering ‘no’ into the wind…. But has Biden’s been better? I think there’s room here for good faith debate on how it should and could be been handled.
