I disagree. Intelligent people exchanging ideas is an integral part of what makes Medium a good place. I think it’s dangerous to give out the message ‘if you disagree with me, keep moving’ - echo chambers are an emerging exercise in group think and we should be careful not to lean into our own biases.

Do I endorse trolls? Nah. I’ll send them packing. Do I want people to challenge me? Absolutely. Do I want people to try and intelligently talk me out of positions I’m passionate about. That’s what keeps me sharp and thinking - it’s what differentiates Medium from Twatter or whatever it is called these days.

Pluralistic voices intelligently debating is what makes this platform hum and worth coming back to. We aren’t a homogenous and we should resist the lure of consensus at all costs. :o)
