I do this a bit - I'm a different writer now and so I will occasionally take a story from the back catalogue (usually over a year old) make some minor alterations and add some snark, then reintroduce it as a new story.

There was also a publication called 'Recycled' that specialised in this exact thing. Something that hadn't done very well on its first outing could be reissued as a brand new article. Some of my first sucessful articles on the site were re-hashed articles from earlier pieces that got overlooked by the algorithm.
