I don't disagree with this.... and the rights need to be re-argued under a better amendment than the 14th. I've been writing an article about 'bodily autonomy' because it's being misused as an argument at the moment. A Government removing a service is not a threat to bodily autonomy, it is the removal of a choice/course of action which feels like bodily autonomy has been impacted - it's not quite the same thing.
It's complicated and feelings are running predictably high, but the Democrats should've attempted to codify and reposition this legislation a long time ago.
