I don't know whether you were intending to be intentionally ironic or not... but the photograph you have put up shows a black police officer. Perhaps that should suggest that there's something more complicated at play here.

It's very easy to fire a particular demographic of people into an 'us vs them' mindset in which one group of people are the de-facto villains and others are untarnishable heroes. People who write cartoons do it all the time. Real life is more complicated.

The twentieth century is awash with instances of 'us vs them' thinking, and should have been left behind at the millennium. No doubt you will get your applause for this article, as per usual... but you should also be aware of a growing backlash against the simplistic rage with which you use paint the world.
