I don't mind it so much in person - I look after dogs and I talk to them in that way, as does the SOP. They're pretty much fluffy toddlers with severe learning disabilities and short life spans.

It's more of the putting it on instagram as though it were a real person and then choosing to mimic that toddler-speak as though it's endearing. I object on behalf of the dog. If I were to do an instagram account for a dog, my dog would be loquacious as heck.
