I don't necessarily think the Second World War is all Germany's fault - the political conditions brought in by Bismark, plus the economic sanctions brought in by the Treaty of Versailles and then hyperinflation + Wall Street crash brought about the regime change. It's too simplistic to point at the Nazis and say 'they're the baddies' you have to do an analysis and see how that came to be. The Lebensraum argument was a valid argument given the punitive nature of the treaty of versailles and it was widely acknowledged that way at the time. That's not an endorsement of Nazism, it's about seeing it in a wider context.
